Report content

This site hosts content published by its visitors: reviews, testimonials and the photos attached to them. They go online without prior moderation.

If you consider any of this content unlawful — copyright or image-rights infringement, defamatory, insulting or hateful remarks, personal data published without consent, or any other manifestly unlawful content — you can report it using the method below. Anyone may submit a report, whether or not they are personally concerned.

Send your notification by email, or by post if you prefer:

Please put “Content report” in the subject line: these messages are handled as a priority.

So that we can act usefully and quickly, your notification should include the following. An incomplete notification is still admissible, but it may delay our review.

1. 1The date of the notification.
2. 2Your identity: surname, first name and address (or, for a legal entity, its form, name and registered office), together with an email address where we can reach you.
3. 3The exact address (URL) of the page concerned and a precise description of the content in question — for example the author and date of the review, or which photo is at issue where several are published.
4. 4The reasons why the content should be removed, citing the legal provisions relied on and the facts that support your request.
5. 5For copyright or image-rights infringement: proof of your rights in the work or image concerned, and a statement that you are acting in good faith.

If you have already contacted the author of the content, you may say so — it is not a condition of admissibility.

We acknowledge receipt of your report without delay, at the email address you give us.

We review the reported content diligently and in a non-arbitrary manner. Manifestly unlawful content is removed promptly; in other cases we weigh the interests involved before deciding.

We inform you of the decision taken, with reasons, and tell you what remedies are available to you. The author of any removed content is also informed and may contest that decision with us.

This site uses no automated moderation: every report is reviewed by a person.

The photographs, texts and historical documents published on this site are, unless stated otherwise, the property of SAS Les Chryolles or published with their authors’ permission.

If you believe content published here reproduces a work in which you hold rights, write to us at the address above, including the items listed further up. We handle these requests as a priority and remove the content where the claim is well founded.

Claims under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) may be sent to the same email address.
