The "Les Chryolles" Project

The rebirth of a hamlet of mountain farms in Valmeinier

History of the Baud Project (1979-2025)

1979: Christine and Olivier marry in a Swiss mountain refuge, dreaming of recreating that experience to welcome as many people as possible.

1997: Purchase of properties at Anchical and rebuilding of the "Noraz" farm as a family, every weekend and holiday. The Noraz apartment received a subsidized Gîtes de France approval for a “Renovated traditional farm dating from 1636; reference: 73G307117”, and the Baud family joined it in 1998 (Gîte 307117).

2017: Creation of the family company "Les Chryolles", with the aim of rebuilding the hamlet for a lasting social purpose.

2022: The final building permit is granted after 20 years of administrative procedures.

2025: Reconstruction works completed - "never has anything so beautiful been seen in the Alps."

A Unique Vision

The "Les Chryolles" project embodies the revival of a hamlet of mountain farms, in a spirit of social solidarity and sustainability.

More than a simple reconstruction, it is an authentic rebirth that honours the soul of the place while embracing modern values of sharing and openness.

The hamlet of Anchical, inhabited since the 18th century, thus recovers its original calling: a place of communal life in the heart of the Alps.
